signed on the body-tube Carl Zeiss Jena No. 34114, with rack and pinion coarse and micrometer fine focusing, triple nose-piece, the circular stage with slide holders, sub-stage condenser and plano-concave mirror, with three eyepieces and three objectives including a 2th Homog. Immers. Apert. 1.25, in fitted mahogany case -- 15in. (38cm.) high; and a laboratory microscope with quadruple nose-piece, by Carl Zeiss, the brass stand with black enamel finish -- 11in.
