A finely engineered exhibition standard single cylinder Vulcan 'A' frame beam engine
built by T.D. Walshaw, 1978, with single cylinder in. bore x 2in. stroke, inward facing valve chest, studded stuffing boxes, barrelled valve rods and parallel motion links, pierced 'A' frames and 'lift-off' eccentric rod, barrelled fluted connecting rod, with gibbed and cottered big end, spoked flywheel and cast bed, finished in black, green, blued steel and polished brightwork and mounted on a black/white 'tiled' floor with posts and chain, ebonised display base -- 15 x 23in. (39.5 x 58.5cm.)
