An unusual 1in. scale model of a twin cylinder steam roller designed by W.M. Harris
with a brass-bound wood-lagged welded fire tube boiler with fittings including water gauge, provision for pressure gauge, safety, blower, whistle, clack and blowdown valves. The twin vertical cylinder side mounted engine details include cylinders in. bore x in. stroke, draincocks, displacement lubricator, hand lever and quadrant operated Stephenson's link reverse, the crankshaft direct coupled to the rear roll with spur and skew gears. Chassis details include channel section frames, front and rear rolls, hand operated worm and quadrant steering, driver's seat, water tank and hand feed pump, finished in green, red and polished brightwork -- 15 x 19in. (39.4 x 48.8cm.)
