A 2in. scale model of a Fowler Class BBI Ploughing engine,
with brazed copper boiler, with fittings including water and pressure gauges, safety, blower, injector, whistle, water lift and clack valves. Engine details include cylinders 1in. and 1in. bores x 2in. stroke, studded stuffing boxes, mechanical and displacement lubricators, footplate controlled draincocks, motion drip tray, slipper type crosshead guides, Stephenson's link reverse, bolted and strapped big ends with split brasses, counterbalanced crankshaft with two road speeds, eccentric driven feed pump and by-pass, gear drive to cable drum with dog clutch and dished spoked flywheel. Chassis details include spoked, straked wheels, worm and roller chain steering, cable drum, cable and fairleads, whistle, injector, water lift, suction pipe and rose, tool and spud boxes, wooden foot boards and other details, finished in black, green, red and polished brightwork -- 24 x 45in. (61 x 115.5cm.)
