Blue interlaced L's enclosing date letter LL for 1788 and painter's mark for Vielliard to each piece, one cup incised 43 2, the other 49, both saucers incised 41
Painted en camaeu rose with rustic vignettes of figures alternating with yellow and blue urns with handles suspending garlands of blue flowers, similar garlands suspended between the bases of urns and below the rustic vignettes
4in. (12.1cm.) diameter, the saucers
