Lot Essay

In the early 1920s the atmospherical clock was developed by the Swiss firm Jaeger le Coultre. The clocks contain a gass-filled cylinder reacting upon the smallest changes of pressure and temperature, setting the mechanism in a nearly perpetual motion.
