A CHINESE ROBE AND SKIRT
19th century
The robe finely embroidered in multi-colored thread with nine gold dragons chasing flaming pearls amid bats and clouds above the terrestrial diagram and a lishui stripe, all on a blue ground; the skirt embroidered with multi-colored phoenix and gold dragons above crashing waves and a lishui stripe all on a green ground.
