Of convex lozenge form, the blue glass panel scattered with rose-cut diamond stars around central diamond in seed pearl outer border, mounted in silver and gold, circa 1790, finger size 7½ (bezel cracked)
These rings were known as 'bagues au firmament' as they were reminiscent of stars in the night sky
