Vina Arana Reserva--Vintage 1987 Rioja. La Rioja Alta Tasting note: Cherry red with definite golden tints. Medium-bodied. The aroma is spicy, penetrating and complex, and more apparent than previous years. In the mouth it appears to be a mature wine, but still very lively. Though it is currently drinking extremely well, it still has a great deal of life ahead of it. A very well-balanced, complex and sophisticated wine.
