Single malt, 38.6 vol.
This lot is accompanied by a letter of authenticity which explains why this bottling is so special, the spirit is the result of bottling three barrels of spirit distilled between 1926 and 1928. During 50 years of maturation both the volume and strength evapourate through the oak naturally resulting in a spirit strength a couple of degrees below normal bottling strength. The spirit exposes only a round and mellow eminence whilst retaining the usual characteristics of The Macallan
