After a woodcut by the monogrammist NDB taken, in reverse, from a lost drawing by Parmigianino formerly in the collection of A.M. Zanetti (Bartsch XII, 21, p. 83). The original drawing is also known through a chiaroscuro woodcut by Zanetti (Bartsch XII, 38-1) and a lithograph by Bouteiller, A.E. Popham, Catalogue of the drawings of Parmigianino, New Haven and London, 1971, p. 248, no. O.R. 21 and pl. 240.
