A PAIR OF DANISH SILVER COMPOTES AND A PAIR OF SPOONS
Executed by Georg Jensen Silversmithy, the compotes designed by Johan Rohde, no. 17B, circa 1930; the spoons stamped GI in dotted oval, no. 21
Each compote with softly hammered surface, the inverted bell form bowl on molded circular base, with openwork frond and beaded frond stem between, engraved under base rim 'S.A.P. & F.S.M. 1930'; 5in. (37 cm.) diam., each spoon with fig form bowl, the curling handle terminating in coiling beaded frond, initialed 'IPM';6in. (40 cm.) long, the compotes 18oz., total weight 21.5oz.(559gr.) (4)
