The teapot, oval, with straight spout and wood C-scroll handle, the hinged cover with turned wood and silver finial, the side engraved with a crest and motto, marked on the base and the cover, 8.5/8in. (24.5cm.) wide overall; the tea caddy off oval quatrefoil shape with beaded base and rims and engraved with vacant cartouches suspended by ribbons, marked on the rim and cover, 3.1/8in. (8cm.) high
