A pair of vases of this model was sold from the Collection of Giuseppe Rossi, Sotheby's London, 12 March 1999, lot 1427 (10,350). A further pair was sold anonymously at Christie's Monaco, 13 December 1997, lot 108. The model was also executed in porcelain in imitation of marble by the firm of Dihl & Gurhard, for instance on a pair of vases sold from the Collection of Marchese Pica-Alfieri, removed from Villa la Valle, Lugano, Villa Diodati, Geneva, Christie's house sale, 29 September 1996, lot 135.
