A PAIR OF LOUIS XVI GILTWOOD FAUTEUILS

Each profusely carved with stiff leaves and entrelac motifs, the rectangular padded back and bow-fronted seats covered in floral trellis calico, the conforming padded armrests supported by channelled balusters and on channelled turned tapering legs surmounted by flowerheads and terminating in turned sabots, each stamped 'DELAISEMENT' to the underside of the front-rail, one fauteuil with a metal plaque to the back-rail engraved 'HAMILTON PLACE COLLECTION./K.P.G.' both stamped to the underside of the back-rail '643' once and indistinctly '633' twice (2)
