A LOUIS XV GRAINED AND PARCEL-GILT SIDE TABLE
The sarrancolin moulded rectangular marble top above a shaped frieze with foliate scrolls and a central shell flanked by flambeaux, on cabriole legs headed by shell-carved cartouches, on pieds-de-biche, redecorated with traces of previous grey paint, the underside pasted with the 1928 Drouot catalogue entry (see ill.), repairs to the later marble top
