The ormolu beaded bezel to the white enamel dial with Arabic chapters, pierced ormolu hands, blued steel spade hand indicating to the outer concentric calendar ring, the centre signed 'De Belle A Paris', pendulum regulation square above chapter 12, the twin barrel movement with countwheel strike on a bell, the dial surmounted and surrounded to the right by a nymph bearing garlands of flowers, to the left a pair of billing doves beside a stream, on an integral rounded rectangular beaded base with panelled frieze of intertwined scrolling foliage, the sides mounted with paterae, the winding holes chipped, lacking feet, lacking pendulum
