Of late Louis XV style, banded overall with amaranth and ebony, the oval repaired yellow marble top and pierced three-quarter gallery above three drawers, the top drawer with a hinged gilt-tooled red leather writing-surface above a well, the plain sides above slight cabriole legs and terminating in later scrolled and foliate sabots, the top drawer with trade label inscribed 'ACCORSI PIETRO ANTICHIT TORINO, 1142', remounted
