A MATCHED PAIR OF LATE LOUIS XV ORMOLU-MOUNTED TULIPWOOD, AMARANTH AND SYCAMORE MARQUETRY TABLES EN CHIFFONNIERE
Overall banded in dentilled motifs and contrasting banding, each with oval shaped brche d'Alep marble top and three-quarter pierced gallery above three bow-fronted drawers, flanked by simulated channelling, one with an inkwell to the top drawer (missing liners), above slight cabriole legs joined by a kidney-shaped undertier with pierced gallery and terminating on scrolled foliate sabots, one table lacking writing surface to top drawer, with circular trade label inscribed 'ACCORSI PIETRO ANTICHIT, TORINO', and numbered '1892', both partly remounted, restorations
one: 29 in. (74.5 cm.) high; 20 in. (51 cm.) wide; 15 in. (38 cm.) deep, the second: 29 in. (74.5 cm.) high; 19 in. (50 cm.) wide; 14 in. (36 cm.) deep (2)
