Lot Essay

These elegant side chairs have identical legs to the pair of canapes offered in this sale as lot 85, and may originally have formed part of the same suite. Interestingly, these chairs also have a layer of pink decoration underneath the present surface, similar to the decoration of the canapes, further strengthening this possible link.
