An Important Emerald Pendant Brooch mounted by Boivin
Designed as a semi-articulated three-row rectangular-cut emerald-set pendant within a beaded surround, suspended from the tapered triangular-cut emerald with openwork scrolled surround surmount, circa 1970, French assay marks and maker's mark on both parts, pendant and brooch detachable, respectively 10.0 cm long and 3.5 cm long
This unusual jewel was commissioned by the owner from Boivin, Paris in 1948 on the occassion of his marriage.
