The spherical waisted reservoirs with part gadrooned covers and ball finials, on waisted reeded cylindrical stems and spreading circular weighted bases, the branches with labels BRIGHT & CO. (LATE) ARGAND & CO. BRUTON ST.

Lot Essay

JOHN BRIGHT, BRIGHT AND CO.
The connection with Argand and Co. started with the two sharing the same premises at 37 Bruton Street, London from about 1805. Bright seems to have taken over the Argand business in about 1825.
