According to the vendor, these autographs were obtained at Ashford Castle Hotel where the cast and some of the crew stayed during the filming of The Quiet Man on location in Cong, County Mayo in the summer of 1951. The film was released in 1952, John Ford won an Academy Award for Best Director, and the film was nominated for Best Picture.
