by the Kuznetsov Factory, Moscow, circa 1910
Circular with ribbed edges, the centre painted with a boyar and bogatyrs approaching a walled city in the manner of Ivan Bilibin, the rim with cartouches of Red Square, the Tsar Canon and Tsar Bell and the arms of Moscow, the last with Russian inscription 'In memory of Moscow', the ground imitating stone, with gilt pellet borders, marked under base
18in. (45.8cm.) diam.
