The corniche case engraved with foliate scrolls, mounted to the sides with gilt-bordered pink porcelain side panels with reserves depicting amorini, the conforming Roman dial with retail signature for HOWELL, JAMES & CO. to the Queen LONDON, with blued spade hands, the twin barrel movement with silvered platform to the bimetallic balance with lever escapement, stamped for Richard and numbered 129 on the backplate -- 5in. (14.5cm.) high
