The corniche case with Svres style porcelain panels to the sides and to the rear door, each decorated with scene of a ruined folly, with sky blue and gilt-heightened borders, the dial with silvered mask to the recessed brass chapter disc with Roman numerals and engraved rosette design to the centre (later), blued steel moon hands, the single barrel movement with later platform escapement, numbered 203 on the backplate -- 5in. (13.5cm.) high
