The case with ribbon cresting above an oval porcelain panel painted with a lady's portrait (cracked), with scroll mounts to the sides and the figures of two cherubs to the front, the porcelain dial with Roman chapters and decorated with an amorino to the centre, the twin barrel movement with strike on bell -- 14in. (38cm.) high
