A SIX PIECE SILVER TEA AND COFFEE SERVICE ON TWO HANDLED TRAY, maker's mark of Harris & Shafer Co., circa 1890, comprising tea kettle, stand and lamp, teapot, coffee pot, two handled covered sugar bowl, cream jug and waste bowl, each baluster on raised circular base, high upturned spout, scroll handle, the hinged molded domed cover topped by flower form finial, the components chased and engraved with broad band of bold flowering foliage, including roses on stippled ground, with applied flowerhead and C scroll rims--tea kettle on stand over fixed handle 15¾in. (40cm.) high, the oval two handled tray with vacant oval cartouche within stylized tulip surround, the ground engraved with diaperwork, with conformingly chased broad rim and decorated loop handles--length of tray over handles 29¼in. (74.2cm.), gross weight 345oz. (7)
