A SILVER TEA KETTLE, STAND AND LAMP, underside of base stamped with maker's mark of Marquand & Co., New York, circa 1835, inverted pear form, the lower section flat chased with radiating matted foliage, chased and engraved above with bold flowers, finely matted foliage, scrolls and rocaille, two sides with rocaille and scroll enclosed shaped oval cartouche, one engraved with crest, with an applied scalloped gadrooned collar, with leaf and flowerhead applied, flat chased, swan's neck spout and multi scroll swing handle, the detachable domed cover topped by flower finial, the twice chained circular stand on three flower headed, shell footed, multi scroll supports, with plain burner--16in.
