Although air is now supplied by an electric impeller, the original bellows survive, with connecting rod and crankshaft but not the flywheel. The organ has not been played regularly for several years; when played recently (October 1999) one note was ciphering, two pneumatics had become detached, and tuning was obvioulsy required.

VIEWING: This Lot may be viewed (in London) by arrangement with the Mechanical Music department. It will not be on view at South Kensington.
