with stylised foliate outer edge, the raised and pierced corners of the ovolo with acanthus flanked by oak leaf sprays, the centres with further, shallower foliate carving and traces of cross-hatched gesso, concave recess, stylised foliage to sight edge corners, small restorations -- 31 x 25 x 4in.
