painted with two panels of landscapes within gilt scrolling foliage borders, the cover painted with a pastural scene in the eighteenth century style with a recumbent sheep and dog and sleeping shepherdess and companion, within gilt foliate scroll border, blue interlaced 'L's mark, 20th century (slight rubbing to gilding, mark polished out) -- 13.5cm. wide
