modelled with seated putti, each one holding a torch above his head ; the rims of the drip pans with running acanthus and fruit; on naturalistically moulded bases; set on fluted onyx plinths, each with a band of tied imbricated leaves and berries above an octagonal socle -- each one 11in. (28cm.) high.
