TWO CYPRIOT WHITE PAINTED WARE BOWLS AND TWO DISHES

A large White Painted ware dish on ring base, with two horizontal wishbone handles, interior with concentric circles, exterior with cross-hatched lozenge-filled lozenges within a cross formation contained within concentric circles, 16 in. (40.5 cm.) across handles; a similar smaller Bichrome ware dish, exterior with two cross-hatched triangles and lines radiating from central concentric circles and within further circles, repaired, 13½ in. (34 cm.) across handles; a White Painted ware large bowl on stem foot, with straight sides and two horizontally attached handles, interior with circles, exterior with vertical bands of lines containing cross-hatched triangles and lozenges, 8½ in. (21.5 cm.) wide; and another similar smaller, on ring base, with cross motif within lines on exterior, repaired, 7 in. (17.7 cm.) wide (4)
