of spreading rectangular form, the domed cover depicting a hillside with architectural ruin surrounded by floral and abstract bands, fabric and paper lined partitioned interior, possibly adapted from a tea caddy -- 10in. (25.5cm.) wide

It has been brought to our attention that the illustration on the cover of this box is probably of Ross Castle and attributable to Henry Hollanby. The box may be of later manufacture than detailed in the catalogue, circa. 1870.
