Textile Design with Horse's Head

This is one of several textile designs executed by Henry Moore for Zika and Lida Ascher who were instrumental in reviving the British textile industry following the Second World War. They commissioned leading artists, including Matisse, Hepworth, Brard and Moore to design printed head squares.
