of stepped and tapering square section, the galleried mid section with doors opening to reveal a seated deity, the exterior surfaces carved in low relief with lotus leaves, petals and ho-o -- 11in. (28cm) high; an ivory group of three elephants standing on their hind legs on a circular base -- 4.1/8in. (10.5cm) high; an ivory pen stand -- 5in. (13.3cm) high; a pair of Indian rosewood hinged bookends inlaid in ivory with flowers and foliage -- 7in.
