gouache heightened with gold on paper, at night, the ascetic sits under a tree by a small fire leaning on a short crutch, two angels stand before him holding out cups of liquid, gold border, gold sprinkled green leaf, circa 1800, (very light wear and flaking) - 20 x 12cm., verso with 4ll. of black nasta'liq in gold clouds, signed by Nasr Allah, blue and gold meandering vine borders, plain leaf - 23.5 x 15.5cm.; madhumadhavi ragini, a lady and her companion take shelter from an oncoming storm, gold floral borders, gold sprinkled pink leaf, late 18th/19th century - 21 x 15.4cm., verso with panel of calligraphy, lines of black naskh in gold clouds, gold and blue border, plain leaf - 20.2 x 13.5cm.; a couple on a terrace watching the new moon, gold and blue floral border, gold sprinkled orange leaf, probably Jaipur, 19th century - leaf 43.5 x 27.5cm.
