A James II silver-gilt engraved marrow spoon,
the thread bordered rat-tail flanked by foliage, the stem engraved on both sides with debased foliage and foliate scrolls, maker's mark T.Z.crowned, for Thomas Issod, circa 1685, (date letter lost in engraving) - 17.75cm long, 1oz.

Christie's 25 July 1979, lot 135, the Property of a lady (lots 127-135 were her collection of marrow spoons and scoops).
