Pyke & Pluck", drawn and executed by Browne for the first edition of Nicholas Nickleby (London 1838-39), plate 17, part IX, 230 x 140 mm. (9 1/16 x 5 1/2 in.), bevelled edges, the engraved side highly polished, a very few small scratches, contained in a removable felt frame within a green morocco gilt-lettered folding case by Chas. Sawyer, (broken), with Chapman & Hall's typed signed certificate of authenticity and an impression of the plate loosely inserted.
