Autograph manuscript signed of two poems, "Prof[essor] Vere de Blaw" ("Achievin' such distinction with his moddel tabble dote...") and "Marthy's Younkit" ("The mountain brook sung lonesomelike and loitered on its way..."), both fair copies, n.p., n.d. [both published 1889]. together 18 pages, oblong 8vo, bound in half citron morocco, one end-leaf detached, gilt spine, t.e.g., worn. These two light-hearted poems in Field's Dutch regional dialect were published in Field's most famous collection, A Little Book of Western Verse, Chicago 1889 (BAL 5739).
