Pattern Crown, undated (1820), by Thomas Webb and George Mills for James Mudie, laureate bust facing right, in script below truncation in two lines I M.D. and T W.F., GEORGIVS III DEI GRATIA. all within a beaded border, rev. en-medaille, crowned cruciform shields, emblems in angles, St. George at centre within garter, MILLS FECIT in script by rose, edge, plain (L&S 214; ESC 221), tiny rim nick on reverse, small dig on cheek with a little friction on highest point, otherwise very attractively toned, practically as struck and scarce
