Restrike Pattern Halfpenny, 1799, by Taylor after Kuchler, struck in bronzed copper, large crowned, draped bust right, similar to lots 1382-4, front of crown and cross patee retouched, two lis more angular, larger K. on shoulder, hair recut, rev. inverted, similar to lots 1382-4, but triangle of dots not inverted, shield has thin raised rim, ship has poop deck, raised lump under stern, flaw from edge to foot, no grass by foot, flaws either side of second 9, edge plain (P.1258 R78), good extremely fine, rare
