(5 1/4 x 3 1/16 in.), red morocco, covers with oval central cartouche blocked in gold, spine gilt-lettered, board edges and turn-ins gilt-ruled, g.e., slight wear to extremities, upper inner hinge cracked, tightly bound, a few words and catchwords obscured in gutter, lacking A1 (blank?), small repairs to upper margin of title-leaf and fore-margin of fol. A6, a few other minor marginal repairs, small paper flaw to B3v, 3 headlines cropped. FIRST AND ONLY EDITION, text in Latin and English, the Latin passages in roman type, the English translations in italic, preliminary epistle signed "Lerimos Uthalmus" (possibly an anagram of Thomas Willmers), title within double-rule border, two type ornament head-pieces, one woodcut initial.
