To The Memory of The Officers, non-Commissioned Officers and Men of the 51st (Highland) Division who fell in the Great War, 1914-1918 and unveiled by Marechal Foch 28th September, 1924

Lot Essay

George H. Paulin (1888-1962) served in the First World War and was responsible for other memorials, including those at Muckhart, Dollar and Milngavie. Other known commissions include work in Edinburgh's Thistle Chapel, Lord Kelvin in Kelvingrove and Anna Pavlova in London.
