TSUKIMARO: oban tate-e (38.8 x 25.9 cm.) a half length portrait of the courtesan Takihashi of the Ogiya holding an illustrated book and below a roundel of a bust portrait of a woman and plum blossoms, titled Nokiba no mume "Plum blossoms under the eaves", signed Tsukimaro hitsu and published by Iseya, seal dated 1807 --good impression, slightly faded, worming especially toward bottom, light soil or stains
