(much oxidised) and countersigned by the Commanding Officer, arrival c.d.s. on face and faint despatch c.d.s. on reverse from which the flap has been removed; 1862 envelope (complete with original enclosure, flap detached) ex the same correspondence, from "Victoria Barracks Paddington" New South Wales, bearing 1d. cancelled with Sydney duplex. A remarkable recently discovered pair. Photo
