The ivory netsuke carved in the form of quail, four chicks and millet, inscribed on base Okatori and himotoshi formed from the curving millet stalk; the wood netsuke carved as a large, closed peony blossom pierced at the sides to reveal a small shishi within, signed inconspicuously below stalk Tozan sei--1 1/2 in.
