The first of wood carved in the form of three aubergines with mottled stalks and smoothly polished gourds, one side of which carved in low relief with Mt. Fuji, inscribed Masanao, the second of ivory of ryusa form carved with different types of fish and sea animals laid flat against each other, eyes inlaid in metal and details etched and stained black, signed on a rectangular reserve Shugyokusai--1 1/8 and 1 3/8 in.
