TWO IVORY NETSUKE

The first carved in the form of a standing monkey holding a branch of fruiting peach, wearing a jacket etched with diaper patterns and details stained dark, eyes inlaid in horn, the second naturalistically carved as a chestnut applied on one side in green colored ivory with a small insect which has eaten two tiny holes into the nut, the top of the chestnut opening to reveal a monkey seated with a crab, signed in an oval reserve Yoshiyuki--2 3/4 in. and 1 3/8 in.
